How can I book appointments using EatherWay?

   To fix up appointments with doctors in home clinics or hospitals using EatherWay, you need to know the Doctor Id number. It is a simple numerical number that represents the doctor and will be unique for each doctor subscribed to EatherWay. (Eg: 25, 390, and 2045 etc.)
   Once you have the Doctor Id number, you can fix appointments in three ways.
   
   a. Call 0 484 393 484 0. An automated system will prompt you to key in the Doctor Id number and the date on which you would like to see the doctor. The system will check if there are any free slots available with the particular doctor and if yes, will tell you the time and token number. You can also cancel the appointment you have already taken using the same system.
   
   b. Send an SMS message to 56 00 60 70.
   When you book an appointment through call or sms options, please remember that you can fix appointments only for the next 30 days. Hence, you don't need to mention the month and year. However, you may be able to book for a more advanced date using the online option, if the date is open for booking.
   

   
   

   
   
   c. Using www.eatherway.com. You need to register as a patient through simple sign up process and obtain a username and password. Once you have the username and password, you can login and search for a particular doctor, view his practice timings, location, and choose an available time slot convenient for you. www.eatherway.com

EatherWay will act as a Patient Flow Mangement System for the Doctors. It will give them absolute control over the time they see their patients, the time they spend with the patients and the time they wish to finish their day's work.  How does a Doctor Subscribe to Eather network?

Doctors can subscribe by calling our solution consultants who will do the registration by obtaining necessary information from the Doctor. Doctors can also directly subscribe by signing up in this website. The web server captures details of the consultation timings, weekly holidays etc of the doctor. Doctors who are signed up with the network will be assigned a Unique ID. This Unique ID, known as Doctor ID, will be used for all subsequent transactions by their patients. How does the doctor make changes to the initial settings?
      

Once registered, Doctors can use their web interface to make changes to Weekly Holidays, set random Holidays and Vacations. System will automatically prevent appointments for the days set as holidays.

Similarly Doctors can also keep some specific slots free of appointments for their other engagements; by selecting those slots and setting them as Blocked. The system will not provide appointments for these slots. If the time slots to be blocked have appointments which were already given, those patients will be notified by SMS if the notify option is enabled.

Doctors who are not regular users of internet can call EatherWay call centre and instruct our customer care agents to carry out any such configurations.

EatherWay is a healthcare product that integrates the three communication mediums – Mobile Text Messages (SMS), Internet and normal Telephony enabling patients and doctors to communicate with each.
Developed by Cochin based company (Alignminds), EatherWay enables doctors and patients to communicate with each other using their platform.
Here is how it works:

• The Doctor subscribes to EatherWay, either by registering online or with the help of solution specialist from the company.
• The Patients also register with EatherWay, either online or by sending a mobile text message. This will enable them to book their appointments online, search for doctors etc. However, registration is not mandatory to fix appointments through SMS or Automated Telephone Appointment System.
• Whenever appointment is needed the patient can book an appointment online or by sending a simple mobile text message or call our automated telephone appointment system. She receives the date, time and a token number by reply SMS. If the doctor is not available, next available dates are received by SMS.
• If an appointment is to be cancelled the patient sends an SMS for cancelling the appointment and gets acknowledgement.
